You need much less fuel than with either conventional briquettes or charcoal and will still have sufficient heat to create a great branding on the steak, even without the use of grill grates.
Place the sticks upright in the charcoal chimney. Add and inflame 3-4 high-quality Eco-lighters. After 30-35 min. the glow is ready for barbecuing. You can dump the sticks in the grill before the top part (2-3 cm) is glowing.
